INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL INTO- AND OUT OF SOUTH AFRICA

On 11 November 2020, President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation and retracted the high-risk country list and opened the borders for all international travellers. All travellers remain required to adhere to health protocols together with a negative COVID-19 test result not older than 72 hours from the time of departure.  Additionally, and where required, travellers will need to enter mandatory quarantine facilities at their own cost. For South Africans traveling abroad, it is imperative that all travellers familiarise themselves with that countries entry regulations before proceeding with travel arrangements.
